Caleb smiled as he listened to Naomi's side of the conversation. Dad's going to love her.. he though with his smile growing across his face. His dad would love that she has money and brains, and those were just icing on the cake for Caleb. He loved her for her, his dad was so materialistic sometimes. When he took the phone again, he leaned back a bit in his chair. "Hello?" he greeted softly. His dad was caught off guard it seems by how wonderful Naomi was. "I couldn't have picked a better woman for you, Caleb. And believe me, I was considering choosing one," his dad told him. Caleb's voice caught in his throat.
"Thanks, Dad. I'm glad you approve." At that, Caleb listened as his dad gave him a 'Twenty Questions' moment, asking about the future and such. "Dad, I've got it all worked out. The wedding isn't until after graduation, and I still plan to help with your business, but I may do work at wherever we move to....No you won't need to buy us a home, unless you plan to do that as a wedding gift..." Finally, a couple minutes later, Caleb hung up the phone with a "Bye Dad, love you." It had been quite a long time since Caleb and his dad had told each other that they loved each other. His dad promised that he'd tell Caleb's mother and brother about the engagement, but Caleb had told him he'd tell Trace.
Caleb smiled to Naomi. "One moment, mon amour. I have to call my brother and tell him the good news before my dad does," he said with a smile. He knew that his family would love Naomi. The phone call to Trace had been short, simply telling him that he was engaged and Trace asking if she was hot. Caleb said his good-byes and shoved his phone in his pocket. He laughed softly. "Family.. My brother's first question was 'Is she hot?' He's a bit perverted sometimes for a twelve year old. But it's better than my materialistic dad," he said with a shrug. Caleb took her hands again, calling the waitress back over. He ordered his food, suddenly even more hungry then before. He kissed Naomi lips sweetly after the waitress was gone. "This has to be the best weekend in my life," he said with a wide smile. [/blockquote]

why does he have to be so gorgeous? i'm taking pictures in my mind to save them for a rainy day i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo106/hailz0221/olivia_wilde_13.jpg its hard to make conversation when he is taking my breath away. he already knows that he's in my mind.
I smiled brightly hearing that his father approved, and even brighter when his brother did as well. I laughed lightly at his brother's remark. "My brother went through that kind of stage last year, he was hitting on my friends," I joked. When he mentioned it being the best weekend of his life, I nodded. "I have to agree with you there. I love you so much, Caleb." I sighed and ordered my meal, not taking my eyes off Caleb.
A thought came to my mind about his family. "Caleb... do you think your mom and sister would come with Jayme, Hal, Julliet and I when I go dress shopping? I plan on telling only them, of course. And since my mom isn't going to be present during any of this..." I trailed off, then got right back on in a cheery manner, "Your mom could sort of replace mine for a bit, at least in the girly activities anyway. And that way I could get to know your sister and mom better. My Papa will be around through this, obviously, but I want to get to know your family better, too. Another thing would be, will Claude have a part in the wedding? I know Julliet will be my maid of honour, and I plan on making your sister a bridesmaid." I smiled softly, leaning over to kiss Caleb.
I was shutting my mom out of my life permanently. She was a bitch, and as far as I was concerned not related to me anymore. She could have her Greek man, because I had more important people, and things, to worry about. But I was going to give her a chance. "I'm going to invite my mom to the wedding. She won't show up, but I might as well give it a shot," I said, looking at Caleb with a gaze that clearly said I hoped she'd show.

Caleb laughed softly. "That had to have been awkward!" he said with a laugh. He smiled again. "I love you too." Thoughts of his sister raced through his head. She was a loner, not much of a social person. His mom on the other hand was completely social and bubbly. "My mom would love that. Celia? Well, she's more of a loner, I'm not sure if she'd go for that. In fact, I don't know if she's going to the ball even..." he said with thought.
"I was thinking that Claude could be my best man, since I don't really have many close guy friends," he explained with a shrug. He really didn't hang out with many guys, he found it easier around girls. When Naomi mentioned her mom, Caleb kissed her on the cheek. "It's worth a shot, amour." With that, the food showed up. Caleb stuffed his fork into the scrambled eggs sitting on his plate with the other food, eating down some of it with a happy sensation to have food in his stomach. [/blockquote]

I laughed when he mentioned it being akward, then when we got the food I took a few bites before responding. "Hell yes, he was attached to one of the girls and had such a big crush on her. Finally he got over it, though," I said with a smile. When he mentioned Celia being a loner, I shrugged. "Well, I'll try my best to get to know her in another way. But your mom coming I bet would be a lot of fun." I took another few bites of my food, and thought about my mom, but then pushed the thoughts out of my head.
"So what do you want to do after this, mon amour?" I asked, taking a sip of my drink. Hell, nothing would beat this weekend now. I was engaged to the boy I loved, I'd lost my virginity to him, and we were in my favourite place in the world. "When do you think I should tell Claude and my Papa about all this?" I asked randomly.
