VIVIENNE JONES When he told me why he asked me to the dance, my face went bright red. "Umm... thanks. I think you're the first person, outside of my family, to ever compliment me." I smiled, moving a bit closer to him to show I liked him. Though, I didn't trust him completely. Obviously not, I had just met him not long ago. "And I agreed to go with you because you're cute, funny, and not afraid to break the rules. And I like that," I said with a bit of a blush he probably couldn't see. Well, I was hoping he wouldn't.

* i can see the venoum in your eyes , ( END YOUR LIFE ) -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- - She seemed to like his response, which was good. He wasn't entirly sure what girls wanted or didn't want, as he wouldn't have enough experience to tell. He was completely relable on commen sense. That and maybe he would want someone to say that to him, but since he was the opposite gender, it was hard to tell what they would find offensive. If a guy was told they were big, it was a compliment. If a girl was told she was big, whoever said it better run fast.
As he contiuned to talk, he found himself a little nervous, but that was understandable. He wasn't as nervous as when he first started, as words were just starting to come out as they went without any thought. That was the commen sense part mentioned eariler. There was a warm smile that lit his face when she said it was like a dream. Yes, it was very much like a dream. Only now when he truely thought about it did he relaize as much. "Yes, or some sort of movie for sure!" He exclaimed, speaking what he was thinking eariler.
Oh! Right! Why didn't he think of that before? It was so simple! And she was one of the first to come in, as he was the third. A part of him seriously doubted that it was the other girl in bright blue. "Oh, right. My mind must be shutting off." He told her, which was actually half true. Right now, it was frying at the moment not to slip a stutter in his words. Anyone who heard him speak once, rather by accident or in front of the class, would have known it was him.
This had to be a dream. Was he being called an Alpha?! He was about to open his mouth to correct her, but he suddenly changed his mind about it. No one was going to know who he was anyway, he might as well go with the flow. It wasn't like he was going to see her as an alpha. Yes, for one night, he should be alpha. "Oh, please. I hate Felicity. She seems to have her eye on me all the time, seeing if I'm going to mess up to range my 'status'." He said with a quote of his fingers. That is acutally what he would have been thinking if he was alpha. Then again, he would also be thinking, Ah! I have to get away from all these people! if that were the case.
"I'm glad some people have the sense not to drink." He added with a swift smile, leaning on the nearest wall. Then he thought that maybe she did take the drink. But by the sound of it, she didn't take to drinking any better then he, himself, did.
----------------- Jack was very much amussed by the girl's chatter. Her voice was high and very melody like, swinging very smoothly across to his ears. And, with that, she seemed she knew what she was talking about, as confidence was streaming out of her as she held her broken shoes in one hand. When she mentioned the shoes, he took a quick glance at them. God, what girls did for shoes! He wore whatever he could possibly find. Then again, he was dirt poor.
"Well, I would lie and say that I understand how you feel, but I don't." He said with a sly smile, hinting that since he was a guy, he had no idea what the purpose of 20% off cheap shoes did to people. "But interesting story, none the less." He said, the smile widening with the very words he spoke.
Jack blinked with surprise as she said her name. This was a Masquerade ball, after all, and the whole purpose was to meet people that you knew you wern't going to find again, wasn't it? Ah well. He wasn't going to keep his name a secret, as he could really give a fuck about his reputation. He wondered, however, how the girl would act talking to the main druggie around the school? By everything she talked, and her beautiful figure, though maybe there was something differenet behind the mask, she was most likely an alpha. "Julliet? I'm Jack, but everyone calls me Jackie."
He looked at her hand, and put his hand on hers, shaking it with properness. He looked back up into the eyes, which the color was so hard to find in the dark of the mask. "So, now our identities have been covered, we can't have the romantic story of Cinderella." He said with a very teasing smile. Yes, a relationship was the last thing on his mind, serious or not, but it was always good to make a healthy flirt, and this girl was pretty, as far as he could tell, so why not her?
