For though they may be parted there is still a chance that they will see, there will be an answer. let it be. It was five o clock. The sun Had barely risen to heat the stone sidewalk between the school and the dorms. Henry, a red plastic gym bag laced across his arms, excitedly shuffled through the distance between the pool and his home. He had waited for days to finally be able to take his first step and release himself into the clear blue. The liquid of life he called. And it was waiting. Waiting for him. The water was calm, and through connections with the janitor, he found himself able to use the space for himself. Quickly he discarded his shirt and his shoe, looking longingly for a second as the gentle waves rippled against the concrete siding. The room was humid, the warm substance stored hear radiated itself to fill the room. The smell of chlorine burned Henry's nostrils as he lifted his head high to allow the smell in. This was his opiate. His everything. Without another thought, he stepped toward the the pool, held his foot forward to guide him, and fell into the liquid, being cradled like a baby on the waves beneath the surface, gently swaying back and forth, until, at last he is pushed up for more air. He continued this little ritual, and dove down once more, holding his breath for as long as he could.

Izzy tried her hardest not to be spotted walking the halls in a pair of flip flops, her bikini, and a colorful pair of short swim trunks. She managed to get to the pool without someone whistling at her or seeing her. Izzy slid into the room taking off her white flip flops and going over to the higher diving board. Sure, it wasn't the highest board she'd been on, but she could deal. When she dove in, no one was in the water. Izzy swam along the bottom, reaching the steps across the pool before needing a breath. She came up, taking in a deep breath and sitting on the steps.
Then, she noticed someone else in the water. Izzy groaned, she knew that the door should have been locked. Damn her inconsideration. Izzy watched the person come up, and when his ears were out of water, she spoke. "Hello?" She was worried that she'd be hurt or that it was someone she hated. The girl really hated being in rooms with people she didn't know or she disliked. Sure, she dealed. Isabella didn't stop for anyone, other than Felicity and Olivia. The girl was an Alpha, third in command.
Izzy wasn't in the mood to get in a fight, she was still getting over a hang over and she'd been planning to hit the gym by seven. The poor girl hadn't slept for over twenty four hours, and she drank so much the night before that she forgot half of the things. She'd just have to get over it and hope for the best.

Hal was lost in his own thooughts, of this and that as he submerged, his body ripplieng the waters edge. Suddenly, his near state of grace was shattered by that damn word. The one everybody said but never, ever ment. "Hello."
The girl shouted from across the pool, and, feeling a little angry that she had bothered him, he considred lashing out, but couldn't, because she would not have known what he was experiencing at that moment. It wasn't her fault. Hal looked up out the water, breathing heavily. He lifted a hand as the water ran from it, and did his best to wave. Then quickly he stuck his head back under, and shot up, fluffing his hair as he did. He was now standing in the shallow water, the liquid reaching just below his mid section. "I'm Hal."

Izzy sighed when she realized that it wasn't anyone she knew. Must have been a someone lower than Charmer, because she knew a lot of people higher than so. Izzy watched him come out of the water and fix his hair, and she ran her hands through her wet hair as well, slicking it back slightly. She looked him up and down, deciding that it was better than being alone. "Isabella, well, Izzy. But I'm guessing you knew that?" Oh she really hoped he did know, or she'd have to be terribly mad.
The girl really didn't like explaining she was an Alpha when people didn't seem to know her. And today she wasn't in the mood at all. Still, she hated being alone even more. It just bugged her not having anyone to talk to or to at least have watch her. Being popular had definitely made Izzy hate solitude like she used to kind of like. But that's what she got for wanting to not be hated. She was pretty sure that if Felicity and her hadn't hit it off she'd be hanging around with the Individuals again. She didn't really want to go back to that.

Hal cocked his head slightly, wanting to make sure he had cured his swimmers hear. She insisted he know her name. But he didn't. and quite honestly, he could care less about this girl, whose nose seemed to be plastered in the air, high above her head. He smiled at her sweetley. "Nope. Can't say that I know you. Sorry."
He hated pretty people. They got what they wanted, were what they wanted and, at least to Henry, were allowed to be obnoxious and snooty. he wouldn't put up with her crap, if she started any, but he could tell that this girl, like, he was sure, many of the others at this school, was sure to start some trouble any day now.
oh, and she was hungover.

Izzy's mouth dropped slightly and she glared. "Ever heard of the Alphas? I'm pretty close to the top at this school." She was very annoyed, and her head was really starting to pound. A soft groan escaped Izzy's lips as she put a hand to her head. "God freaking damn it. Just perfect," she whispered, almost inaudible. She really hated hang overs. It was all Felicity's fault for bring the vodka. Oh but it was so good, and Izzy couldn't resist. She sighed softly, dropping her hand back into the water. The girl stood up in the three foot water.
Izzy walked over to the boy, making it obvious she was looking him up and down. She looked up to him with a look of disgust, flipped her hair, and headed to the edge of the pool. Normally, she wouldn't have been such a bitch. But, she was so not feeling great. Izzy hopped the short distance and sat on the edge of the pool, holding the edge with her hands and letting her legs sway softly in the water.

Henry moveed a little closler, an ephpiany occuring in his mind. The Alphas must be the group of girls in charge of this school. So, he would play them to his gain, as long as he could. Especially because this one seemed so vulnurable and like such an easy target.
"I really have never heard of them, but to be honest, they all sound like total bitches. I mean, they honestly believe they run the school, which I'm sure they do, but that someone could be that spoiled and self loving, it makes me sick.." He gave her a half smile, and looked at her, his eyes devious. "And I bet they have killer parties."

Izzy's mouth dropped more than before. She closed it and glared, huffing softly and crossing her arms. She really wanted to hurt him, but she really doubted that she could. Izzy was getting pretty mad, which wasn't exactly what she'd wanted at five in the morning. She'd gone swimming to have some peace, wake her up. And it turns out it backfired, which was pretty upsetting.
"We didn't choose to run the school, the position chose us. And if you think I'm spoiled, Hal, you're far from correct. Self loving? Ha." Izzy bit the inside of her cheek, glare not subsiding. Oh she was really mad. "Oh, right, you wouldn't know a party if it was right under your nose." She smirked softly and looked away, her arms still crossed. Sadly, Izzy was horrible at looking away from those she was talking to, so she looked back to him, making sure to have a look of disgust on her face as she glared at him more.

"oh, Dont give me that." He snapped quickly. "I've seen and heard this far too many more times than I'd wish to. You are all priveliged, spoiled and probobly blonde girls, who think they're happy now, but in four years, when something like brains really matters, your out of luck because you flaunted your way threw high school."
Not once did his attention waver, and his eyes stayed locked on hers the whole time. He nearly surprised himself. Henry wasn't usually mean, and didn't know where all of this had come from, but he soon realized that he would have trouble stopping it. "And honestly, when we leave here, who the hell is gonna care bout some spolied brats?"

Izzy stood back in the water. "You can think what you want, Mr. Nobody. But the only people that everyone's going to forget are the losers with barely any friends!" she growled. For some reason, Izzy was a bit turned on by the fact he was sticking up for what he believed it. Sure, she didn't like being judged but sometimes she did wonder if the people who stuck up to her were right. Probably not, but there was a chance for it and she didn't like thinking about that.
"Look, Hal, I'm so sick of people acting like they know who I am. I'm not some stuck up, snobby, spoiled, bitch like you may think. To tell you the truth, I'm probably the nicest Alpha you'll meet. Livia and FiFi are ten times worse than me, so I'd watch yourself with them. And, I don't know why I'm telling you this.. I wasn't always some snooty popular girl. At my last school I wasn't even close to god damn popular. So stop acting like you know who the HELL I am. Because you don't." Izzy had walked over to Hal, and was standing right in front of him, a little less than a foot away. She had to look up to see his face, so she did.

"Really? Because people who aren't spoiled wouldn't expect to be known." He was referring to her earlier statement about him knowing her name. "And you say your friends names like I should know them, when honestly, I couldn't care less about your friends or thier attitudes, or personalitys, or lack there of." He was pretty pleased with himself at this moment, mostly because he loved to argue.
"Now, if you'll excuse me, I was in the middle of something when I was so rudley interupted." With that, he submerged himself in the shallow water, and swam into the deep end, waiting for her to chase him or to say something more, and he couldn't help but chuckle slightly, which forced him to open his mouth, and water to fill his lungs. Henry quickly swam to the serface, coughing jaggedly.

"It caught me off guard, okay? Most people I meet already know who I am. It's a reflex. And I couldn't care less if you know my friends, okay?!" In fact, Izzy wanted to kill one of her friends at the moment. She was getting a bit less mad at Hal, more so at Felicity. The poor innocent Izzy had turned from sweet to pain in the ass. And it was all FiFi's fault. Izzy was feeling a bit guilty.
Izzy watched him swim off, then a bit after come up in deeper water coughing. Izzy swam over, stopping near him, but at least a foot away. "I'm sorry for being a stuck up, rich bitch alright? Are you okay?" she was a bit upset that she'd been so rude, and she hoped he didn't think she was bipolar or something. Izzy just had never noticed what she'd turned into.

"I'm Fine." Henry coughed another time, before balling his fist and hitting himself on the chest once or twice,. She had apologized, and he couldn't help but smile. "I guess its cool." He said, pretending to be still angry. Then he laughed whole heartedly, gently pushing her face to one side.
"Its cool, kid. I can be a bit rude too sometimes. I don't think much of it. I like to argue is all." he coughed again, quickly covering his mouth. "So, what brings you here so early?"

Izzy smiled, glad that he'd at least forgiven her. "I didn't sleep, at all, and usually after being awake for over twenty for hours being active helps. So I planned on swimming until 6:30 and then hitting the basketball court." Izzy shrugged softly, looking up at Hal. He was taller, but most people were taller than a girl who's only five foot two and a half inches.
The girl smiled at him, leaning backward into the water and dipping her hair and pushing it all back with the water and leaning back up. Izzy took a deep breath, enjoying the smell of the chlorine. "What about you? Why are you up so early?" she asked, a smile across her soft lips slightly.

"I'm up so early because I got here last night, feel asleep at seven o clock and woke up at four. So, I figured I would do something. It was either drugs or swimming. This one seemed a little less drastic, so I decided on swimming."
He backed away when she leaned back, making sure not to touch her as he did. He put his hand on the wall behind him, and sighed loudly.
