Justin walked into the near empty lunch room. It was him, the cafeteria ladies, and some freshmen. He had had free period before hand, so he was always early to lunch. He walked through the line carrying his book bag, grabbed a turkey sandwhich, and went to a random table. He plopped down with his food in front of him, and he brought his bag to his lap. There, he removed his sketch pad and placed it next to his lunch. He took a bite of the sandwhich before starting. He started drawing a really complicated looking drawing. Although it wss impressive looking, it really had no meaning. To Justin, it was just some squiglies and curves. Since he was a really complex artist, he had drawn most things that were amusing enough to draw. That was the reason he had taken up guitar as well.

I've hit the highway And I'm not coming home, I'm gonna drive I'll do it my way I'll call you on the phone when I arrive • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • || OUTFIT || I walked into the large cafeteria, wondering where I should sit. It was sort of hard to find friends on your first day when you had come from across an ocean. I flipped my brown hair, which was in a ponytail, in front of my shoulder and fixed my bangs, then looked around for someone to sit with. The cafeteria was just filling up, but I spotted a cute guy sitting at a table, drawing. Of course, I was heading there.
I walked over to the table, my heels clicking gently against the tiled floor as I approached him. "Exuse moi? Mind if I sit here?" I asked in my french accent. I smiled sweetly, and flirtaciously, at the boy, raising an eyebrow in curiousity at him. "Oh, je m'appelle Naomi Devan. Et toi?" I asked in French. Anyone would know that, it was easy enough to dechiper even if you didn't know French. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • This template was created by charoulla of Blank Pages so PLEASE credit in case you want to use the above or else she will haunt you down and KILL you!charoulla ©2009, , All Rights Reserved

Justin looked up from his drawing as a girl walked in front of him. He looked at her and was instantly mesmorized. He just stared blankly at her, knowing she was probably just some Alpha who was lost. But something about her made her seem different. Maybe it was her radiant smile, or her casual clothes.
"Exuse moi? Mind if I sit here? Oh, je m'appelle Naomi Devan. Et toi?"
Justin was a bit shocked when the girl spoke in French, because he was from Paris originally. He smiled his best smile at her and moved his bag from the seat beside him. "Pas du tout. I "m Justin Andrews. Nice to meet you. Alors, où êtes-vous mademoiselle?" He hoped she spoke enough French to desiphere that. "Ummm, so where are you from?" He added quickly.

"I just moved here from Paris," I said with a smile as I sat down beside him. "Oh, so you are an artist? So am I, but I love all the Arts," I looked at his drawing, "And it's nice to meet you Justin." I smiled flirtaciously again as I set my bag down beside me on the floor. I had recognized the name, I didn't know from where. Maybe...
"So how long have you been going to MLP?" I asked, pulling my hair out of it's ponytail and letting it fall over my shoulders. I twirled it around my fingers as I watched him, thinking about how cute he was. Of course, I was flirting majorly, but that was just the way I was. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • This template was created by charoulla of Blank Pages so PLEASE credit in case you want to use the above or else she will haunt you down and KILL you!charoulla ©2009, , All Rights Reserved

Justin dry swallowed as the girl sat down next to him. It was pretty obvious she was flirting with him. He self conciously ran his fingers through his hair. Smiling back, he listened as the girl spoke.
"I just moved here from Paris," I said with a smile as I sat down beside him. "Oh, so you are an artist? So am I, but I love all the Arts,"
He was surprised at how much he and the girl had in common. "Me too. I don't act though. But I do play the guitar. And Paris? No way. I was born there." He smiled a wide grin. He knew his dimples were visible. That was the one thing he hated about himself, he thought they made him look boyish.
"So how long have you been going to MLP?"
Justin stared at her as she took her hair down and ran her fingers through it. He couldn't help staring. His mind swarmed with the girl's face. "Since about the beginning of Junior year. And I take it your new here." He could have slapped himself for sounding so dorky. "I mean well obviously. Since you just moved here from Paris. Which is in France. Which is on the other side of the world." He laughed at his own stupidity. "I think I'll just leave the Geography to the teachers." He smiled into the girls face.

I've hit the highway And I'm not coming home, I'm gonna drive I'll do it my way I'll call you on the phone when I arrive • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • "I do everything, plus I'm a dancer. Music's always been a big thing for me, I've been called gifted but I don't believe it," I said with a sigh at how many people had told me that, then my parents would tell me I wasn't good enough. I never would be, and I hated that they couldn't let me know they were proud of me, or that I did a good job. It was always that I could've done better.
I smiled when he stated he was from Paris as well. "Well, it's good to have someone like you around then," I said with a smile as I leaned a bit closer to him. I laughed lightly when he rambled, brushing my hand gently down his arm. "Hmm, artistic, funny, and cute," I said flirtaciously, looking him over in one quick glance and keeping the flirty smile on my face.
And then it hit me. "Aha! I knew I'd heard your name before! And you, mon cherie, are my new roommate," I smiled deviously, "So now I have to put up with you for the rest of the year." I winked again quickly to show I was joking. I'd definitley enjoy being his roommate. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • This template was created by charoulla of Blank Pages so PLEASE credit in case you want to use the above or else she will haunt you down and KILL you!charoulla ©2009, , All Rights Reserved

"I do everything, plus I'm a dancer. Music's always been a big thing for me, I've been called gifted but I don't believe it,"
Justin smiled at the girl. He knew she was talented by the way she sighed. But he didn't know if she was bragging or just that oblivious. "I bet you're really talented." He smiled. "I have a gift for knowing things like that." He considered winking, but thought against it.
"Hmm, artistic, funny, and cute,"
Justin gulped and scooted the other way when she leaned into him. He smiled nervously and laughed. He waited for her to finish. He had no idea how he could deal with sleeping in the same room as her. "Well, looks like you need some food. I'll go get that for you. Do you like hamburgers or do you prefer salad? One Salad Burger coming up." He hurried to get up and speed walked to the line.

I've hit the highway And I'm not coming home, I'm gonna drive I'll do it my way I'll call you on the phone when I arrive • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • I just smiled and leaned back into my chair, and as he left I pulled out my cell phone. Claude was calling, so of course I answered it. I loved my little brother so much, he was my best friend. He had the same problems with our parents as I did. I kept in constant contact with him, we never had that common sibling rivalry. Sometimes I had to be more of a caring mother for him than our mother actually was. Unfortuneately, Dad was harder on Claude because he was the boy, and Claude was not that athletic. I felt so bad for the poor kid, even though I had pretty much the same treatment from both parents. I put the phone up to my ear.
"Bonjour? Claude! I clicked off the phone on the verge of tears, and quickly blinked them back. I leaned down on one arm on the table, getting my thoughts back in order.
I looked at the background of my brother and I on my phone. I remembered back when we were young and life was simple. But then our parents pushed us and got into fights and life took a turn for the worst. I was certainly glad to be here, but I wanted Claude with me. I'd always promised him that when I moved away, I'd take him with me, but he wasn't old enough to come along. I would be going back anyways, so as soon as he was old enough I'd bring him here.
My mind travelled back to Justin, and I smiled a bit. He was quite odd, but cute and funny. And quite peculiar. I'd lay off most of my flirting for a bit, but that didn't mean I'd completely stop. I also wanted to know how he would react, if guys jumped too quickly at the oppurtunity to be with me, that meant they wanted something else. I flipped my phone closed and was no longer blinking back tears. I sang 'Second Chance' by Shinedown, my theme song when it came to dealing with my parents, quietly while tapping my foot and waiting for Justin to come back. TRANSLATION OF PHONE CONVERSATION: Hello?... Claude! I miss you so much, how are you?... How's boarding school?... That's good, I like mine too. Are mom and dad okay?... Dad's out of the house again last you heard... Okay, don't cry please. You know you'll make me cry and I'm sitting in the middle of a cafeteria... It'll be alright, you know how mom and dad are sometimes. Just go do your homework, I know you have some. No way would you already be done it.... How are your guitar lessons going?... That's great, I can't wait to hear you... I really miss you, too....I'm rooming with a boy named Justin, he's from Paris as well... Do not tell mom and dad that I'm rooming with a boy or they'll kill him and me!... Alright, I've got to go now.... I'll be home during the holidays.... I really miss you and mom and dad. I'll see you soon, okay? Love you!

Post by Caleb Ethan Julian on Jul 14, 2009 19:31:44 GMT -5
Caleb walked along the halls, getting a few stares from girls he passed. He smiled to those he passed, knowing most of them. He made it into the lunch room, spotting a table to sit at right away. With a smile, Caleb started walking toward the table with a beautiful girl, on the phone with someone. Caleb could only hear faint bits of the conversation as he headed her way, and it was all in French. Luckily for him, he'd taken French since he was little. He caught small blips of her side, then watched as she looked upset.
When the girl was looking better, Caleb walked over and sat in the seat next to her. A few people were staring at him, but only a couple other charmers. "Hello there, beautiful. My name's Caleb, mind if I sit here?" he said with a winning smile. Caleb found her gorgeous, and he couldn't help but scoot a small bit closer to her. Caleb was smiling sweetly, hoping to have some time alone with her before anyone else came over.

He immediately took Justin's seat, but I didn't reject him siting beside me. He was gorgeous, I had to admit. "I'm Naomi, nice to meet you. And you're tres beau as well," I introduced myself with a wink, my french accent obviously clear to him. "You know, you just took my roommate's seat, who's off getting me lunch at the moment." I pointed in the direction of Justin but continued to smile, "But I'm sure he won't mind. I don't."
I smiled flirtaciously at him. I flirted with all guys, and obviously this one was interested in me. "So, how long have you been going to this school?" I asked, sitting back in my chair again and leaning in the slightest bit towards him. It wasn't that obvious to other people, but it would be obvious enough to him that I was interested in him as well. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • This template was created by charoulla of Blank Pages so PLEASE credit in case you want to use the above or else she will haunt you down and KILL you!charoulla ©2009, , All Rights Reserved

Caleb smiled as she spoke. The accent was just another topping to the perfection he found her to be. "It's wonderful to meet you as well, Naomi." Caleb couldn't make the smile disappear. He looked in the direction that Naomi pointed, then looking back to her. "I don't think that he'll mind too much. There's a seat open on the other side of you, so I'm sure he won't mind at all, in fact." He could tell that she was interested by how flirtatious she was.
Caleb thought for a moment. "Four years. I started here in grade nine, I'm a senior now." He explained sweetly. Caleb watched as she leaned closer, doing so a bit himself as well. His smile turned from sweet to a bit devilish, seductive.

HOW CAN I DECIDE WHATS RIGHT - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -when your clouding up my mind, Justin felt like an ideot walking away from the table. "Salad Burger?" He asked himself outloud. Some Freshmen sitting at a table near by gave him a look of disgust. He just kept walking. He got up to the line thinking of what to get her. When he got to the options, he decided it would be best just to get her a sandwhich. He grabbed the closest one, and went up to pay for it. He also grabbed her a coke, thinking it would be best to get a neutral drink. He gave the lunch lady the five dollars before turning back around.
What he saw surprised him so much, he stopped in his tracks. Naomi sat there, in her same seat pointing at him. But there was another boy sitting in his seat. He recognized the guy as Caleb Julian, a fellow senior who was considered a "hearthrob". If their cliques hadn't already put them in a bit of dislike, they're polar oppisite personalities did. He stood there watching them smile and lean in closer to each other.
He took a deep breath before starting back to the table. He pondered on what to say. Should he be nice, and prove to Naomi that he was sweet. Or should he be mean and show him who was boss. He arrived to the table a bit to soon. "Caleb. Hi. I see you've met Naomi." He forced a stiff smile. Out Fit:This.

"Oh, you two know eachother?" I asked looking at both of them with curious glances, "And I suppose that's for me? Merci beaucoup, Justin. Those just happen to be my favourites." I took the food from him, but I'd wait to eat. I took a sip of the coke and sighed in content.
I noticed the tension between the boys. It made me feel sort of uncomfortable, but I ignored it. I crossed my legs and smiled. "Well, I was just telling Caleb I was new here, and that you were my roommate," I told Justin, switching my smile from flirty to sweet. I was going to stop most of my flirting, because both boys seemed to be interested in me, I was interested in them, and it was way too much to deal with at the same time. I just flipped my hair over my shoulder and smiled at both.

Caleb looked over and saw Justin. He wanted to say HIM?! He's your freaking roommate? Why'd it have to be him? but he wouldn't. He forced a sweet smile, and it looked innocent and real. "Hello, Justin." he greeted with a winning smile. Caleb looked at Naomi, devilishly smiling at her accent.
When she spoke again, he just listened, nodding to confirm her statement. "Congratulations on hooking a perfect roommate, man. I'm surprised I didn't end up with her." Caleb winked to Naomi, smiling sweetly. He shot a short glare toward Justin but turned it to a smile. "Take a seat, dude." he said softly.

How much he wanted to hit him right now, he would never know. But by the intensity of his glare, he wouldn't be surprised if he did. "Yeah, well I guess you can't have every thing, can you." He forced a fake laugh. He slid into the seat next to Naomi. He smiled at her and laughed. "Sorry, they didn't have Salad Burgers." He laughed and moved his stuff into his bag, ready to make a mad dash for it when ever. "So you're into art? And dancing?" He smiled even wider, knowing his dimples were right out there. "You're going to love it here then. Maybe later today I can show you around the campus. We have lot's of clubs that help with expressing yourself. And if you like sports, we have a whole range of them. I'm Captain of soccer, so I would know." He smiled and laughed. "Just call me your personal welcoming committee. Out Fit:This.
